*MEET TOM HUGHES: Tom Hughes serves as the National Program Director for the “Yes, I Can!” Basketball Camps and Clinics. Hughes has traveled extensively throughout the United States and around the world presenting the “Yes, I Can!” Camps and Clinics. He has been involved in “Yes, I Can!” Camps since their inception. Tom is an exceptional teacher and motivator. Tom has successfully coached at the professional, college, and high school levels. As the Head Coach and Vice President of Basketball Operations with the Kansas Cagerz (USBL), Tom's teams won a Divisional title (1999) and finished second (2000). As an Assistant Coach with the Dodge City Legend (USBL), Hughes helped lead the team to the 2001 USBL Championship game. At Kansas Wesleyan University he coached the Women's Basketball team to back-to-back National Championships. He was named NSCAA "Coach of the Year" in 1996. At Wentworth Military Junior College, he took a program that hadn't had a winning record in 26 years, and turned it into a regional contender. The most successful coach in the programs history, Tom was inducted into the WMA Athletic Hall of Fame in 2000.
